We Survived!!

We survived the first week of school.  Well I guess it's a bit premature to say that, since Zona still has to go tomorrow but I'm pretty sure we won't collapse into a quivering mass of nerves.  At least I hope we don't.  It's actually been not too bad of a week.  A bit busy as we try to get back into the swing of things but we are getting there.  Of course, we'll be thrown a bit next week when I start classes, and then again the week after that when Zona and Zack start their dance classes, but I'm hoping that we'll be able to handle it.  We have to be able to handle it.

I guess that's really all I have to let you know.  Boring, I know.  But I'm going to try and post something here at least twice a week.  We'll see how it goes.  In any case, until next time I hope that everyone enjoys these last lazy days of "summer," including the last long weekend of the season.  Party safe and have fun!

After all the waiting, both patient and impatiently, the baby is finally here!!! A Quickie!

So here's an update on the whole oven/stove issue. Allow me to briefly describe the conversation I had with my mom... Me: It worked before and now it doesn't. It's broken. (somewhat paraphrased) Mom: Check the fuses. Me: I will, but I'd rather have a new one. Mom: And if that's not it then replace the elements. Me: I will. But I'd really prefer a new one. Mom: Dad will be home on the weekend I'm sure he'd could look at it for you, if you need him too. (that one's somewhat paraphrased too but that's the gist of what she said) Me: He can. But I'd REALLY rather have a new one. For Christmas and all. (and I smiled sweetly even though she couldn't actually see it since we were on the phone!) Mom: It can probably be fixed. Me: Probably. It occurred to me while I was trying to write a post recently – one that included most, if not all, of our (still growing) immediate family on both sides, that there are now quite a lot of us AND when telling stories it can get very confusing to follow precisely who is involved.
