A Corner Table in My World

Okay so this is just a quick update... It's like midnight of the 30th and I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop and so I'm shooting this off on my way to bed... I'm still hugely pregnant. I did suffer through contractions ALL DAY on Monday and I really do mean all day - they started at 5:30am and woke me up from a perfectly nice sleep and continued on every 4-8minutes until around 8pm when they finally started to slow down and become less painful. By midnight they were done and in when Obie and I went to bed it took me about 3minutes to pass out dead to the world. :) Tuesday was a complete bust. I didn't really have any contractions at all but I was so exhausted that it's not entirely surprising that not even my uterus wanted to do anything. (Jokes, I did have a couple contractions throughout the day but nothing really to note.) I managed to get a few errands run and I went to see my Grandma Helen and spent a couple hours visiting with her. Rora also ...

[July 23 - 08 - early evening] Well the doctor didn't tell me to get my stuff and go to the hospital so that I could have this baby :( Not that I expected him too. He did say (without the icky details) that my body was getting ready so it shouldn't be too much longer. All I have to say to that is "no freaking kidding - there are only 10 days till I'm due, it'd better be soon!!!" So Zack and I came back from the doctor's office and had lunch and then played with toys and read a couple 'Bob the Builder' stories. Around 6:30 though I was starting to get tired of having Zack around and sent both him and Obie off for a "Boys Night." Now I'm watching 'So You Think You Can Dance' all by myself cause the boys aren't home yet and feeling so tired that I might just go to bed rather than watch the rest of the episode. Here are some 'diary-type' updates from the last week or so. I started an update on the sixteenth and then again after I got home from the family reunion and then decided I might as well put a few entries together like this for something different... talk to you again soon :) [July 16 - 08 - Wednesday] Nine months pregnant, basically, and so friggin' uncomfortable most days that it hurts to breath, to move, to eat and basically do anything else that resembles being awake, alive and otherwise human. Yep, our timing with this pregnancy probably couldn't have been worse. You would think that after the last pregnancy (Zack was due October 9) and being 6-8months pregnant through the summer months then, that I would know NOT to get my self in this situation again, but....
